From the initiative of the actual owner R. Cérou , the gallery Louise Boyer was created in 2003, named in this way to homage to his great-grand-mother, founder of the restaurant.
Those who presided over the destiny of the Vieille Auberge always made it in agreement with the family spirit : the respect of the place and devotion for the "clientèle" were the order words as well as the demand at the work.
Each generation fashioned this place of trade and exchange, bringing "savoir-faire" and news ideas.
For this reason, R. Cérou cares about mixing his two passions : catering and art, dated his first youth, for he's born and lived in this restaurant, then he studied at Beaux-Arts school in Paris (many diplomas ended his artistic studies years).
The wish to join his roots and to found a family pressed him to take the business at the death of his grand-mother.
After a few years catering, R.Cérou can combine at least two complementary fields : art and cooking, making art with cookery and art consumed with greed and pleasure of senses. |
